Last week I travelled to beautiful Poznan in Poland to speak at SearchMarketingDay. I found myself in an amazing line-up of fantastic speakers from all around the world – my buddies Simon from Sweden, and Mikkel from Denmark, as well as Dixon, Stephen and Martin from the UK, fellow German Tad Chef, and Kas from Google´s Dublin Office, responsible for the search quality in various european search markets (and also blogging on the polish and german version of Google Webmaster Central Blog).
That´s really a line-up you don´t see very often, and especially not in a country like Poland, where search-conferences used to be staffed with only local SEOs. Even I stayed the whole time in the room (a kick-ass movie-multiplex), and enjoyed every single one of the featured speakers. Razvan, a very talented SEO from Romania, introduced a pretty cool new SEO tool called CognitiveSEO, with some nice never-seen-before features, and churned out some beta-invites to all the attendees, so everyone could give the new tool a little spin around the block. Try to hit him up on Twitter, maybe he got a couple of beta-invites left.
But not just the conference was pretty much off the hook, Cezary, Michal and all the other guys from MaxRoy.com rented a whole luxury hotel – the Blow up Hall 5050 (weird name for a hotel, huh?) – and took great care of us 24/7. I got to admit, that I´ve never been pampered that much at a conference – it was just awesome
And I´m definetly not alone with that opinion – everyone I talked to was really happy with the event, and with what they heard and learned.
Thanks so much for everything guys – I really can´t wait for the next conference you guys are organizing in poland! I´ll be back
