I actually hate all those 2009 year in review and outlook posts… too much noise & less signal
But I will have some great memories, when I´ll think back to 2009…

Here are my personal top 10 moments of 2009:

January
Going to the Bahamas, and winning 27.500 Dollars for my 49th place finish in the PCA Carribean Adventure

And there also was a great party – the 1st Webmasters on the Roof Hörertreffen!

February
I first got invited by Vodafone to fly to Dubai for a quick party weekend

And then me and SEOBlackhat Quadszilla did the SEOktoberfest Spin-off “SEO de Janeiro” in Rio de Janeiro (here are some more pictures)

April
On the 1st of April I got arrested for buying links…

And later that month I joined Roman Polanski on his filmset of “The Ghost“, where I met Pierce Brosnan and Ewan McGregor

And at SMX Munich a couple of days later we had the best Webmasters on the Roof show so far – the Webmasters on the Roof Live-Panel mit Rand Fishkin, Bob Rains, Mikkel deMibb, Sistrix, FridayNite and humble self

May
My new race horse Primo Vero wins in Frankfurt (the Metzler Private Banking-Rennen) – unfortunatly that will have been his only win in 2009…

June
In June I travelled to the ecuadorian rainforest with Mascha Kauka to set up an internet antenna (here are some more pictures)

I also almost chopped my foot of, which lead to my indian name Ni Nawenak Ukutin … and they didn´t give me any other weapons after that, so I had to hunt with a blowpipe

September
SEOktoberfest 2009 – I guess there´s nothing more to say

October
Although suffering from two weeks of octoberfest, I ran my 4th marathon in 3:40

November
November was pretty busy as well – with PubCon Las Vegas and partyin´ hard at the MTV European Music Awards next to german minister of defense Karl-Theodor zu Guttenberg
