Last weekend Bob and Paula from Everest Poker visited me in here in Munich – great times!
After a slow start with a dinner at Papatakis on friday, starring at a greek dude with a freaking mullet for almost an hour, we proceeded to my second home Nightgallery, for their 7th aniversary party. After 4 bottles of champaign we eventually had to leave the party due to “an incident” LOL
The next day we went to the Allianz Areana, watching Bayern Munich embarrass themselves by only tieing Gladbach 1:1. Not a really great game, but who complains, when you can drink beer in public at 3 o´clock in the afternoon?
After the game we went to the famous Last Supper, where Bob managed to get us a table, although being booked out for almost three month… Still suffering a huge hangover from the night before, and some great bottles of wine we eventually crashed early.
On Sunday we started off with a short trip to the Tollwood Winterfestival (which is basically a christmas market for people that smoke too much wheat ), followed by a nice Schweinshax´n at the traditional bavarian Augustiner Bräustuben. Afterwards the Webmasters on the Roof held a little Poker on the Roof Tournament, where Bob showed some skills winning the money for his trip back to Boston.
